Garage Door Opener Replacement
Customer Issue: Ms. Kelley wanted to put in an overhead fan to allow her to work more comfortably in her garage, but her overhead garage door opener would be in the way.
Our Solution: We had the perfect solution for this issue, and advised that Ms. Kelley replace her current unit with a wall-mounted garage door opener. After examining our recommendations, she picked a LiftMaster 8500W model for the Wi-Fi capability, and backup battery. Our professionals removed her old opener, and the overhead bar, before installing in the LiftMaster.
Garage Door Spring Replacement
Customer Issue: One of Mr. Acosta’s extension springs broke during garage door closing.
Our Solution: After ensuring the door was locked in place, our team slowly turned the caps to loosen the extension springs, including the broken one with its tangled remains. After both were loose, they came off and our new pair went on after the cords were cleaned and oiled.
Sensor Alignment
Customer Issue: The door unpredictably stopped closing and rose back open after descending partway, though only sometimes.
Our Solution: Our team inspected the sensors first thing, and found that they were misaligned just far enough to detect movement outside of the garage without breaking line of sight. Some loosening and readjusting, with the opener unplugged and the door locked open, solved the problem.
